Current Accounts

Current Accounts are the kind of accounts opened as demand accounts that enable money deposit and withdrawal at any time and are not paid any profit shares in return. They can be opened in TRY, foreign currencies or precious metals. Kuveyt Türk does not charge any account maintenance fee for current accounts.

Foreign Currency

Foreign currency accounts can be opened in USDs, Euros, Saudi Arabian Riyals, British Pounds, Swiss Francs and other types of foreign currencies.

Precious Metal

  • Precious metal accounts can be opened in gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
  • Gold accounts can be opened as gram or quarter gold coin accounts.

Documents Required to Open an Account

Turkish Citizens and Residents

  • Turkish identity card, Turkish driving license or passport
  • Address confirmation certificate (certificate of residence, copy of a bill of a service that requires subscription belonging to the last three-month period or a certificate issued by a public institution evidencing address)

Foreign Residents

  • Passport or residence permit
  • Foreigner Identity Number
  • Address confirmation certificate (residence permit or copy of a bill of a service that requires subscription belonging to the last three-month period)

Foreign Non-Residents

  • Passport
  • Address confirmation certificate (certificate of residence, copy of a bill of a service that requires subscription belonging to the last three-month period or a certificate issued by a public institution evidencing address)
  • For foreign natural persons, certificate showing Tax Identity Number issued by tax offices.
