They can be opened in TRY, foreign currencies or precious metals. Kuveyt Türk does not charge any account maintenance fee for current accounts.

  • Internal transfer, money transfer, Retail Payment System (RPS) transactions
  • Automatic/Manual Credit and credit card payment
  • Cheque collections/Cheque Book usage
  • Credit and credit card payment

Documents Required to Open an Account

Turkish Citizens and Residents

  • Turkish Identity Card, Turkish driving license or passport
  • Address confirmation certificate (certificate of residence, copy of an invoice of a service that requires subscription belonging to the last three-month period or a certificate issued by a public institution evidencing address)

Foreign Residents

  • Passport or residence permit
  • Foreigner Identity Number
  • Address confirmation certificate (residence permit or copy of an invoice of a service that requires subscription belonging to the last three-month period)

Foreign Non-Residents

  • Passport
  • Address confirmation certificate (certificate of residence, copy of an invoice of a service that requires subscription belonging to the last three-month period or a certificate issued by a public institution evidencing address)
  • For foreign natural persons, certificate showing Tax Identity Number issued by tax offices.
