The Cumulative Participation Account is a participation account suitable for those who wish to make long-term savings with small amounts. You can open an account with a minimum term of 3 years and save at a high rate over time.
How to Open a Cumulative Participation Account
You must be a Kuveyt Türk customer to open an account. Do not worry if you are not a Kuveyt Türk customer! Visit our nearest branch to become a customer. Then, you can open your Cumulative Participation Account.
Details on Cumulative Participation Account
- You can open an account with a minimum term of 3 years and a maximum term of 10 years.
- You can make your payments in 1-month or 3-month periods.
- You must have a minimum of 150 TRY, 100 USD, 100 EUR, or 50 g of gold in your account in the beginning.
- The minimum amount you can deposit in the period you set is 50 TRY, 50 USD, 50 EUR, or 1 gram of gold.
- You can make payments with your credit cards in addition to the instructions you can give from your current account.
- You can update your instruction at any time and increase or decrease the amount to be deposited.
- You can make a lump sum payment at account opening if you wish.
- You can skip up to 5 payments if you are unable to make regular payments.
- You can only withdraw money three times before the term or withdraw any amount up to 50% of the principal at once.
- If you close your account before the term, 50% of the gross profit share is calculated over the amount accumulated in your account until the date of closure is paid.
- Regardless of whether you are a natural person or a legal entity, accounts are under the guarantee of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund if the total balance in your Cumulative Participation Account and current accounts is a maximum of 400,000 TRY.

What is the difference between a Participation Account and a Cumulative Participation Account?
When you open a Participation Account, you can make monthly payments at minimum rates. You are also not required to make regular payments. For Cumulative Participation Accounts, which you may prefer if you want to save for the long term, you need to pay the amount you set on a regular monthly basis.
How can I get my gains if I close my account early?
If you close your account early, your gains will be deducted. Your gross profit share is calculated over the total amount accumulated in your Cumulative Participation Account until the closing date, and 50% of this share is deducted.
Can I withdraw money from my account at any time?
You can only withdraw money from your Cumulative Participation Account 3 times before the term or 50% of the principal amount once. If you do not comply with these conditions, your account will be closed, and you will receive 50% of the gross profit share determined for the amount accumulated in your account until the closing date.
If I do not make a payment this month, will my account be closed immediately?
No. You can skip a total of 5 payments during the term when you are unable to make regular payments.
