Through Investment Funds, you can increase your savings by minimizing risks.
What is an Investment Fund?
- An Investment Fund is based on the principle that your savings are managed by professional managers to be invested in various money and capital market instruments.
- You can co-invest in the investment instruments in the fund's portfolio with other people and get a share of the return.
Investment Fund Advantages
- You can trade in KSV, KLU, and KTV funds 24/7 within certain limits through Kuveyt Türk Participation Bank.
- These funds are managed by experienced managers who constantly follow the markets.
- To minimize risk, fund managers distribute the investments in the pool in a way that benefits shareholders.
- Investment Funds can be easily liquidated when necessary.
- Funds are divided into two different types in terms of flexibility and liquidity advantages:
Open-ended Investment Funds allow you to liquidate investments with high liquidity easily.
Closed-end investment Funds allow you to invest on the basis of real-time prices.
- Until 31.12.2023, a 0% withholding tax will be applied to earnings from all instruments except variable, mixed, Eurobond, external borrowing, foreign, hedge funds, and Investment Funds with foreign currency in their names. Our legal clients are not subject to withholding tax on Investment Funds.
- According to the regulation in the Corporate Tax Law, there is an exemption for the earnings obtained from the participation shares of Investment Funds that do not hold foreign currency-denominated assets and gold and other precious metals and other capital market instruments based on them in their portfolios.
Considerations When Investing in an Investment Fund
- Before investing, you can determine your return expectations by considering your needs. If you want to increase your income, save money, or contribute to your finances, it is in your best interest to take steps in line with your goals.
- You can thoroughly research the fund you intend to invest in. You can contact the institution that owns the fund for this purpose.
- Focus on how much risk you can take when investing. Then, you can learn the risks of the fund you want to invest in and keep in mind that they may arise at any time.
- You should set a limit for yourself when investing in a fund. Knowing what to do in scenarios where the fund may lose or gain value will help you make rational decisions. For this, you can monitor the past performance of the fund you choose. You can obtain a chart showing how much the fund has earned monthly or annually from newspapers or ask your bank.
- You can make transactions through Kuveyt Türk Mobile, Internet Branch, and TradePlus to save time and energy.
