As the term “personal data” covers any and all the information which you submit to and are processed by Kuveyt Turk Katilim Bankasi A.S., the Bank or the Data Controller, using automated or non-automated means and which includes but is not limited to your full name, Turkish identity number, foreign person identity number, tax identity number, passport number, telephone number, e-mail address, place of residence, place of birth and sex, these personal data may be transferred to Interbank Card Centre so as to ensure that you can apply to Easy Addressing Services (KOLAS), business processes are secured, legal liabilities are performed where necessitated or required by the regulation and your legitimate interests are protected. As per article 5/2 of the said Law, the reason behind the transfer of your personal data is c) the relevance of the transfer for the establishment of a contract or agreement or the performance thereof, and d) the necessity of transfer so that the data controller may perform his/her legal liabilities.
You can apply to the Bank and request information in order to learn if your personal data are processed, learn the purpose of processing of the personal data, learn whether the personal data are used in accordance with the specified purposes, learn the administrative and technical measures taken by the data controller for the protection of the personal data, learn the national and international third parties to who the personal data are transferred, request correction where the personal data are processed incorrectly or incompletely, request the deletion or removal of the personal data as per the conditions set out under Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698, request notification to personal data transferee third parties in case the personal data are deleted or removed due to the foregoing, raise objections against the unfavourable conditions which may arise due to personal data processing only with automated means and request indemnification of damages which may arise due to illegal personal data processing.
